About the Franklin Country Chamber

Incorporated in 1919, the Chamber is a regional Chamber and Tourism Council providing business support, economic development, regional marketing and advocacy to the greater Franklin County region. We are a private organization funded primarily by annual investments made by member businesses. A volunteer board of directors governs the Chamber, an organization of business leaders who work to improve their community and the area’s business climate.

Franklin County is the most rural county in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Farms, fields and valleys form our historic villages and bustling towns. There is so much to do here - in our fine museums, educational institutions and cultural centers - but most of all, in our great outdoors!
“Our Chamber membership is one of the important ways that we place value on our relationships with other business owners and with our community. “ Bruce Lessels, Zoar Outdoor
“Chamber membership helps keep my staff in contact with the local business community through their seminars and events.” – Michael Tucker, Greenfield Cooperative Bank
