Gagne Wealth Management Powers $20K Gift Card Promotion
In a bold investment in the local economy, Gagne Wealth Management Group has partnered with the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce to launch the first-ever Gagne Wealth Gift Card promotion—injecting over $20,000 directly into small businesses across Franklin County.
Through a $10,000 donation, Gagne Wealth Management will match each $25 Franklin County Gift Card purchase with an additional $25, giving customers $50 in spending power and amplifying its impact across local shops, restaurants, and service providers.
The promotion launches Wednesday, May 7th, and arrives just in time for Mother’s Day and graduation celebrations, encouraging residents to give meaningful gifts that also support the heart of our local economy.
“This kind of community investment is what makes Franklin County so special,” said Jessye Deane, Executive Director of the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce. “Thanks to Merrill’s generosity, this promotion doesn’t just support small businesses—it invites all of us to explore our communities, discover new favorites, and keep our dollars where they matter most. If you’re thinking about buying one, don’t wait. These cards will go fast.”
The initiative builds on the momentum of the Chamber’s gift card program relaunch in November 2024, which introduced an easier purchasing platform and expanded the number of participating businesses to include local favorites like Hope & Olive, Sweet Lucy’ Bakeshop, the Brewery at Four Star Farms, Beth & Frances Boutique, and more. Since the relaunch, the program has driven record-breaking local spending and become a go-to gift for residents and employers alike.
“This community thrives when we invest in one another,” said Merrill Gagne, Founder of Gagne Wealth Management Group. “By powering local prosperity through this initiative, we hope to encourage neighbors to rally around the small businesses that keep our downtowns vibrant and our economy strong. It’s not just about gift cards—it’s about fueling the long-term success of Franklin County. If this promotion helps more folks shop local, try a new place, or support a neighbor, then we’ve done something good together.”
Gift cards can be purchased online through a dedicated Gagne Wealth Management Group checkout page on the Chamber’s website, where a $25 bonus is automatically added to a single $25 e-gift card at checkout. Gift cards are also available for purchase by phone, in person at the Chamber office at 79 Old Main Street in Deerfield, and at a pop-up sale at the Greenfield Farmers Cooperative Exchange on Thursday, May 8th, from 3:00-5:30PM. Accessibility and equity were central to the design of this promotion to ensure all Franklin County residents could participate with ease. Due to anticipated demand, the cards are expected to sell out quickly.
This is only the latest in a long line of generous, community-focused contributions from Merrill Gagne, Founder of Gagne Wealth Management. A longtime champion for Franklin County, Merrill has been repeatedly recognized as a Best-In-State Wealth Advisor by Forbes, but his most meaningful accolades are found in the local organizations and people he uplifts.
From fully sponsoring the Franklin County Hockey Association’s Learn to Skate program to backing Greenfield Minor League Baseball, Merrill’s investments ensure all kids have access to opportunity—on the field, on the ice, and in the arts. He has spearheaded holiday food drives, supported the Greenfield Public Library and United Way’s youth mental health grants, and continues to serve as a trusted leader and donor for the YMCA, United Arc, Rachel’s Table, and the Children’s Advocacy Center. His support of the Chamber, the Greenfield Business Association, and local economic development efforts reflects a deep, values-driven commitment to building a stronger Franklin County for all.
“We are so grateful for Merrill’s leadership in what it means to be a business that gives back. This promotion is more than just a great deal—it’s a reminder that when we support small businesses, we’re investing in our neighbors, our main streets, and our shared future,” Deane said. “And, thanks to Gagne Wealth Management Group, we get a $25 bonus for doing so!”
The Franklin County Gift Card is accepted at a growing list of restaurants, retailers, and services across Franklin County. View a full list of participating businesses, visit franklincc.org.
